Monex Group’s first all-electric APC van launches on the streets of Newport
July 2024
As part of our commitment and ongoing investment into the future as a truly sustainable business, we’re so excited to have launched our all-electric E Maxus van. Integral to our APC Newport offering, this is a fundamental step to us helping customers reduce their carbon footprint, while supporting longer term government initiatives to improve air quality across Newport.
Travelling an average of 120 miles per day with deliveries and collections, it will run entirely thanks to the electricity generated by our solar roof panels located on top of the APC warehouse at Monex Group HQ.
Work is very much underway too across the whole business in relation to our commitment to sustainability. We’re working closely with Newport County Council and Awel Aman Tawe (AAT) who have over 20 years’ experience of researching, developing, and delivering projects that address the climate emergency to create our very own robust strategy which we’ll be announcing very soon.
As APC Newport, we’re part of the UK's largest parcel delivery network, specialising in entrepreneurial delivery and collection from our Lake Road depot. As APC couriers, we operate a service for SME customers ranging from manufacturing and medical, to high value documentation, and liquid goods such as alcohol. Setting us apart from other delivery service operators is our dedicated customer service team here who work day and night in Newport to manage your collections and deliveries with ease. There are no automated or bot responses from us so we can answer your questions quickly and efficiently.
The Monex Group includes Monex Logistics, Severn Ready Space, Pike Logistics, Monex Marine, Monex Distribution, Monex International, Monex Cranes, and Monex Academy.
